British striking sensation Jonathan Haggerty has not given up on a potential trilogy bout against ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
The pair have shared the Circle on two occasions, with Rodtang claiming two wins - one via unanimous decision and another via TKO, over the Knowlesy Academy and Team Underground star.
Meanwhile, after back-to-back defeats to 'The Iron Man,' the Londoner decided to make the switch to bantamweight, where he has attained both world titles on offer in kickboxing and Muay Thai.

Now, close to four years since they crossed paths, and with both men having evolved into the biggest names on the roster, 'The General' opened up on the likeliness of a third encounter on the global stage.
Jonathan Haggerty told Sportskeeda MMA's Nic Atkin:
"Yes, yes. I'd absolutely love that. That's a trilogy waiting to happen."

As confident as 'The General' is, Rodtang has the trump card and blueprint to hand the Londoner a third defeat under the ONE spotlight – given his pair of wins over Haggerty.
However, with the form Jonathan Haggerty is in, it would be foolish of 'The Iron Man' to assume that his third fight against Haggerty will be a breeze.
The 27-year-old Londoner has been in peak form over the past two years, and he'd be ready to prove that once more when he defends his bantamweight Muay Thai gold against Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver on September 6.

Jonathan Haggerty says Superlek rematch will be toughest test of his career
Before any talk about a trilogy with Rodtang, Jonathan Haggerty's attention is fully focused on Superlek, as he is set to face him inside the Ball Arena.
The British striking specialist knows 'The Kicking Machine' will be unlike any test he's faced in his career so far. On an appearance on the Sky Sports MMA Club podcast, Haggerty noted:
"I'm focused on Superlek. I'm gonna fight him first. I believe he's the hardest fighter I need to prepare for."
