Jonathan Haggerty credits a lot of his success to training in Thailand. After a successful run at flyweight that saw him claim the division's top prize and deliver a couple of instant classics against Rodtang Jitmuangnon, 'The General' decided it was time to test his skills at bantamweight.

Haggerty officially moved up at ONE on Prime Video 4 for a scrap with Vladimir Kuzmin. Though the Russian proved to be a formidable foe, Haggerty passed the test via a unanimous decision. Since then, it's been nothing but highlight-reel knockouts for Haggerty. In his last three fights, 'The General' has picked off former ONE world champion Nong-O Hama, ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade, and one-time title challenger Felipe Lobo.

Haggerty also won the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing titles along the way, becoming a two-sport titleholder.

Offering some insight into his sudden success, Haggerty believes it all comes down to his decision to move his training camps to Thailand's second-largest island, Koh Samui.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, he said:

"The last few fights, starting from the Nong-O fight, the camps were going so so clean out here. Everything is going so well training out here in Thailand. And it made me realize that now I understand why people come out here to train."
