A lot has changed since Jonathan Haggerty's ONE Championship debut against Joseph Lasiri.
'The General' first introduced himself to ONE fans on January 19, 2019 ONE: Eternal Glory. On that night, Haggerty went toe-to-toe with eventual ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Joseph Lasiri in a three-round flyweight scrap.
Setting the stage for the greatness to come, Haggerty scored a unanimous decision victory over Lasiri in what would be the first of eight epic wins—and counting—on martial arts' biggest global stage.

Looking back on his debut bout via his YouTube channel, Haggerty said:
"So it worked wonders. The [performance] put me on the map. Let's just say that it's crazy to watch this back because my style has completely changed from this fight."
Today, Jonathan Haggerty sits as a two-sport king, carrying both the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles. On Friday, September 6, he'll put the former on the line in what could very well be his toughest test yet.
