Jonathan Haggerty is looking forward to teaching his younger not only how to climb to the top in ONE Championship, but how to stay there.

ONE fans are already plenty familiar with 'The General', but we're just starting to learn about his 19-year-old sibling, Freddie Haggerty, who made a massive statement in his promotional debut at ONE Friday Fights 49 in January.

The UK up-and-comer delivered a sensational performance against Dankalong, scoring a highlight-reel KO just 14 seconds into the second round.

Since then, Freddie Haggerty has added another big win to his resume, landing a buzzer-beating finish against Kaichon Sor Yingcharoenkarnchang in July.

Discussing his brother's bright future on his YouTube channel, two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty said he is more than ready to help guide the teen sensation as he works his way from prospect to bonafide superstar:

"It's a great motivation for me to train alongside my brother," Haggerty said. "Show him the ropes, show him the ways, show him what it takes to be a champion, and what sort of mindset you need to be at the very top organization.
"Through everything, really. It's hard being at the top. Everyone wants to take your spot, so you got to keep yourself humble and keep the hard work going."

Jonathan Haggerty faces Superlek in the ONE 168: Denver main event on September 6

While Freddie Haggerty is busy working his way up the ladder, Jonathan Haggerty is fighting to keep his spot at the top.

Hoping to knock him down a peg will be reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek.

'The Kicking Machine' moves up a weight class to challenge 'The General' for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion on Friday, September 6 when the promotion heads back to The Mile High City for ONE 168: Denver.

Superlek goes into their highly anticipated headliner riding a 10-fight win streak, including wins over Japanese kickboxing legend Takeru Segawa, Thai prospect Kongthoranee Sor Sommai, and combat sports icon Rodtang Jitmuangnon — the man who beat Haggerty not once, but twice during their fiery flyweight feud a few years back.

Will Superlek claim his first Muay Thai title under the ONE banner and become a two-sport superstar, or will Haggerty add another highlight-reel finish and bag another successful title defense?
