Reigning and undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom counts his 2023 world title-winning victory over legendary Thai fighter Nong-O Hama as his best.
Haggerty took care of business against the former longtime titleholder, winning by first-round knockout to capture the gold, and he certainly made it look easy.
However, 'The General' said it was hardly a walk in the park, and it only appeared like an easy win because of the immense amount of work he had done prior to the match.
In a recent video uploaded to his official YouTube channel, 'Retrospect,' Haggerty detailed that he had studied Nong-O's game extensively, which allowed him to craft the fight-winning game plan that won him the bantamweight Muay Thai belt.

'The General' said:
"So yeah, I knew he was a strong fighter and he liked to kick hard with his back leg. So catching his leg and sweeping it like you just saw there was one of the game plans, calf kicking as well was a game plan in this one. And we knew his right hand was there to be locked and loaded."
Now, Haggerty is ready to defend that same belt against another dangerous Thai opponent.
