Jonathan Haggerty previewed a potential MMA fight against Fabricio Andrade.
In November 2023, Haggerty fought bantamweight MMA world champion Andrade for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing throne. 'Wonder Boy' showcased his warrior spirit before ultimately suffering a second-round knockout loss due to Haggerty's world-class striking skills.
Haggerty may be a two-sport bantamweight world champion, but he recently reignited his interest in transitioning to MMA. Assuming he'd receive an immediate title shot, 'The General' could face Andrade for a second time in as many disciplines.
During an interview with Inside Fighting, Haggerty had this to say about potentially fighting Andrade for the ONE bantamweight MMA world title:

"I've already beat him once on the stand-up, and I feel quite strong on the feet. So he can't get near me, like he did in the kickboxing fight. It could be another easy night for me."
Jonathan Haggerty is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the promotion.
With that said, the UK superstar would be stepping into unknown territory in MMA, as Fabricio Andrade would have a clear grappling advantage.
It would be intriguing to see if Haggerty could counter his lack of ground game with striking.

The future is bright for Jonathan Haggerty, whether his next fight is in MMA or defending his bantamweight kickboxing world title.
Firstly, 'The General' is focused on extending his Muay Thai reign of terror, as he's scheduled to defend his throne against ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek later this week.
Haggerty and Superlek will headline ONE 168 inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
Many fans and analysts believe this is Haggerty's toughest promotional challenge yet due to Superlek's last three wins being against Rodtang Jitmuangnon (Muay Thai), Takeru Segawa (kickboxing), and Kongthoranee Sor Sommai (Muay Thai).
Meanwhile, Haggerty is also coming off three impressive wins - Nong-O Hama (Muay Thai), Fabricio Andrade (kickboxing), and Felipe Lobo (Muay Thai). Something will have to give when the UK superstar meets Superlek in a must-see clash.
Tickets for Friday's ONE 168: Denver can be found on Ticketmaster.
