ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender Jonathan Haggerty is all too familiar with the immensely talented Rodtang Jitmuangnon, having shared the circle with him twice. He's now offering advice to the champ's upcoming foe, Joseph Lasiri.

Haggerty has shared over 20 minutes inside the ONE circle with Rodtang, gaining knowledge along the way. In an interview with The MMA Super-Fan, Haggerty had this to say regarding Lasiri's task:

"Pushing the pace. That’s a good strategy, but I don't know if that's a good strategy against Rodtang. But who knows? I wish him nothing but the best and a good fight and I’ll be watching."

Since joining ONE Championship in 2019, Rodtang is a perfect 10-0 in Muay Thai bouts. He's looking to defend his flyweight Muay Thai world title for the fourth time at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Meanwhile, Lasiri enters the bout as the reigning strawweight Muay Thai champion. Both competitors are seeking double-champ status in the upcoming match.

Jonathan Haggerty making a move to MMA?

The 25-year-old has often teased a possible transition from Muay Thai to MMA, but nothing is certain as of yet. The No.3-ranked flyweight (Muay Thai) is currently scheduled to face Vladimir Kuzmin at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Haggerty recently told The MMA Super-Fan that he trains MMA when he's not in fight camp:

"With the MMA sparring, I wouldn’t obviously do it while I’m in fight camp. I just do it when I’m out of fight camp just to keep active. Who knows, I could be going into MMA real soon. So just to get the rounds in, getting used to it, it's no harm. But like I said, I won’t be doing that in fight camp."

For now, Haggerty is fully focused on his Muay Thai bout with Kuzmin. The English native is coming off back-to-back victories against Taiki Naito and Mongkolpetch Petchyindee after his two losses to Rodtang.

Be sure to tune in to ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18 as Jonathan Haggerty takes on Vladimir Kuzmin, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
