“It would be an honor and we could throw down. We’d put on a f*cking epic show. One of those fights for all the generations, all lifetime. I wouldn’t mind that.”

In April of this year, Holloway won the belt, creating one of the best moments in UFC history by knocking Gaethje down in the final seconds.
Dana White clarifies why Ilia Topuria vs. Max Holloway fight is terrible for him
Ahead of UFC 308, CEO Dana White shared his thoughts on the main event between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway. Having a good relationship with both fighters, White feels he can’t bear to watch either one lose the fight.
Here's what White said on the Outta Pocket podcast:
''This Topuria vs. Holloway fight is terrible because when you like both guys and they actually have to go in there and somebody has to lose, it sucks. Max Holloway is one of the greatest ever to do it, one of the nicest dudes and he has the BMF belt and he is a BMF and Topuria has been an absolute rock star. It's going to be a fun fight. I hate to see somebody lose that fight.''
