Bryce Mitchell is dedicated to making his way back to the octagon the right way and wants his fans to know about it. In his unique style, Mitchell wrote a rap song about his recent training regimen and gave fans a sneak peek of it on Sept. 19.
In an interview with The Schmo, 'Thug Nasty' performed a part of his work on camera for people to see. Everyone in attendance — including the reporters and cameraman present — was relatively impressed with the artistic skills of the 29-year-old fighter.
However, fans on social media were split on the performance from the featherweight. Some fans — including one user who referenced Mitchell's last loss to Josh Emmett — were down on the video, labeling the Arkansas native as just another athlete attempting to cross over.

Bryce Mitchell's next fight
Since viciously losing to Josh Emmett at UFC 296, Bryce Mitchell has yet to return to competition in 2024. His recovery has been anticipated given the way his last fight went, but after nine months off, Mitchell appears ready to return to action.
While he has yet to have a return fight booked, Mitchell has been active on social media, calling out fighters and accepting others who mention his name. 'Thug Nasty' was most recently called out by Sean Woodson after the latter's win at UFC St. Louis but also claimed he wants to fight Diego Lopes after Noche UFC 306.
As of September, Mitchell is still without an upcoming fight officially confirmed.
