Josh Fremd and Tresean Gore will seek their first promotional win at UFC Vegas 63 on October 29
Josh Fremd and Tresean Gore will go to battle on Saturday searching for their first win under the UFC banner.
Fremd joined the UFC ranks on the back of consecutive wins. However, he ended up on the wrong side of a unanimous decision as he took on Anthony Hernandez in his first octagon appearance.
Tresean Gore, on the other hand, is coming off back-to-back losses inside the octagon. In his most recent outing in July, 'Mr. Vicious' was viciously knocked out by Cody Brundage in the first round. Prior to that defeat, the 28-year-old suffered a unanimous decision loss against Bryan Battle in February.
Both fighters are relative newcomers to the UFC roster. However, Fremd is more experienced and has finished seven of his nine wins. Gore, meanwhile, finished two of his three wins before his UFC run. That said, Fremd may have a slight edge in this bout. However, both men are in dire need of a win this Saturday.
UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Allen will take place at the promotion's Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will be headlined by a featherweight showdown between No.5-ranked contender Calvin Kattar and the No.6-ranked Arnold Allen.
