Round 1: Davis heavy on the front foot, feinting his jab. He lands, but Kelly returns with a one-two. Kelly is trying to create some breathing room for himself. A hard body shot lands for Kelly, who pounces. A nice right hook lands for Kelly, who follows up with an uppercut.

Round 2: Davis is back on the pressure, landing a body jab. A jab lands for Davis, who appears to be trying to set things up. A straight left lands for Davis. Kelly tries to ward off the pressure with a body shot, but it's ineffective. They clinch but break with little incident.

Round 4: As has been the case throughout most of the fight, Davis is heavy on the front foot. He's not giving Kelly much breathing room and lands some nice combinations in the corner. However, Kelly fires back with his own combination that causes Davis' mouthpiece to fall off.

Round 5: Davis starts the round off stalking Kelly, pawing at his lead hand. A quick jab finds home and Kelly immediately ties up. Kelly with a nice body jab, but he seems to already be tiring somewhat. Davis slips a jab but eats a right hand. They clinch and break with a dirty boxing exchange.

Round 6: Once more, Davis is heavy on the front foot, drawing out wild swings from Kelly, who lands two good shots. Double jabs for Kelly. Davis is also tiring now, and finally ceding ground as Kelly walks him back for a few seconds, partially landing a combination.
However, Davis is quick to retake the initiative, marchimg forward and throwing. Both men trade, but Davis lands. Davis with a body jab followed by a jab up top. 10-9 Kelly
Round 7: Endless pressure from Davis, who snaps Kelly's head back with a jab. Davis blasts Kelly's midsection with a left hook. Kelly is exerting a lot of energy moving backward and circling. Kelly lands a quick jab, but neither man is finding the openings they've been looking for.
More jabs from a retreating Kelly, but Davis' pressure doesn't end. Davis briefly stumbles Kelly with a left hand but it looks to have just been a loss of balance. Body jab for Davis. A short left hook lands for Davis. Kelly catches him with a quick combination. 10-9 Davis
Round 8: Davis starts the round by flicking out his jab. Kelly flashes a check hook and lands a quick right hand. He's moving better this round, shuffling from side to side, intercepting a Davis level change with an uppercut. A jab lands for Kelly, while Davis fires back an uppercut.
Kelly lands some body shots, forcing a clinch from Davis. They engage in a dirty boxig sequence, with both men landing. The referee breaks them up. Davis back on the pressure but partially eats a one-two. He does land a bdoy shot though. Another clinch ensues, forcing the referee to separate them.

Round 9: Kelly starts the round by applying pressure of his own, landing an uppercut. They clinch and Kelly eats an uppercut from Davis, including a body shot that appears to hurt him. He recovers well though, landing a long right hook. Davis seems to be intent on investing in the body now, narrowly missing with a liver shot.

Davis is relentless, rocking Kelly with a hard straight left. Kelly is in survival mode. A combination from Davis blasts Kelly. They clinch and Kelly survives until the end.
