ONE strawweight MMA world champion Joshua Pacio placed his trust in his doctors and the people around him to ensure his recovery from a torn ACL in his right knee will go off without a hitch.
In an interview with the world's largest martial arts promotion, 'The Passion' shared the ins and outs of his rehab with the help of Physiolab PH and Tiger City Boxing Gym:
"I spent eight weeks there in Physiolab and we really strengthened the muscles around the knee. They based it per activity. They unlocked other muscles around my knee, making sure I don't strain my knee too much in all of my movements. I also worked with Tiger City. They worked on my hip mobility. That's what I worked on there."

"Now, I have full clearance from Doctor Canlas, and it really took a lot of weight off my mind."
The Filipino megastar's determination to return to fighting condition follows his desire to settle his differences with interim strawweight MMA king Jarred Brooks in a trilogy bout.
The rivals will meet in a unification bout in the co-main event of ONE 171: Qatar on Feb. 20 at the Lusail Sports Arena in Lusail, Qatar, where the winner will be crowned as the undisputed ONE strawweight MMA world champion.
Joshua Pacio thoroughly studying Jarred Brooks' style ahead of ONE 171
Joshua Pacio may already be familiar with Jarred Brooks' fighting style, but that does not mean he is taking him any lightly ahead of their third clash.
In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Pacio mentioned:
"I've reviewed a lot of techniques that he keeps doing, not just in our fights, but also in his fight against Reece, Balart, and his other fights in the past. So we're reviewing all his movements to see which ones we should counter."
