Joshua Pacio believes John Lineker might struggle against Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.
On February 24, Lineker and Andrade will meet for a second time to settle their no-contest last October. The highly-anticipated rematch will have the vacant bantamweight world championship on the line after "Hands of Stone" missed weight last time out.
Pacio, a former 5x strawweight world champion, joined ONE Championship for an interview and had this to say about the ONE Fight Night 7 main event:
“For me, it depends on whether Lineker can immediately adjust to the style of Andrade. But as of now, Andrade has the advantage and the momentum. For me, Andrade will get the win by knockout or decision… I think Andrade can easily read Lineker’s attacks and knows how to manage the distance, especially since he has the edge in both height and length. His physical advantage will come in handy again in this rematch.”

‘Wonder Boy’ was on his way to becoming the bantamweight king before landing an unintentional groin shot that broke Lineker’s cup. Heading into their rematch, Andrade is extremely confident, while ‘Hands of Stone’ is prepared to silence the doubters. The must-see bantamweight showdown can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
Joshua Pacio stresses the importance of remaining humble in training
Joshua Pacio trains with the legendary Team Lakay, who lacks ego and is never short of elite training partners. Throughout his fighting journey, Pacio has learned valuable lessons on remaining humble despite his success as a former 5x ONE Championship world champion. ‘The Passion’ shared some of his knowledge on Instagram by saying:
“When you enter a dojo, never put in your mind that you are a champion, or whatever, you are there to learn and absorb, always be hungry to learn new things, there’s no room for pride☝🏼 Keep on Learning💪🏽”
Joshua Pacio last fought in December 2022, losing his strawweight world championship to Jarred Brooks by unanimous decision. ‘The Passion’ has a solid argument for an instant rematch, but nothing has been confirmed. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old seems focused on remaining humble, continuing to improve, and waiting for another opportunity to fight for another world title.
