"My training has been more demanding. I’ve been focused on what his strengths are so that I can adequately prepare for them. Johan is always going forward and never retreats. He’s always looking for the knockout. Due to his style, I know it’s going to be an intense fight."

'Tuzo' Josue Cruz has a pair of losses to start his ONE Championship stint. But he isn't dwelling on the setbacks and is instead focusing on the future.
He believes a victory over 'Jojo' Johan Ghazali at ONE 168: Denver will erase the sting of defeat and set him up for success.
'Tuzo' told ONE:
"My mentality is stronger now. Sometimes you think that losses will set you back, but they’ve matured me as a fighter. They’ve made me realize how I need to fight and what I need to change. I’ve made sure to make some changes in both my mental and physical training."
He added:
"Facing Johan is motivating for me, and I’m going to give it my all. Fans haven’t seen the best version of me, and they are going to see a completely different ‘Tuzo’ Cruz."
