It's a battle between combat sports veterans from their disciplines as Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Uriah Hall are set to lock horns in the main card of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry clash, which goes on July 20, 2024, at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Chavez Jr. carries the weight of his father's legacy and wields a 53-6-1 record that highlights his vast experience in the ring. The 38-year-old former world champion embodies the fearless Mexican style, boasting a 64% KO ratio.
Meanwhile, Hall built a recognition as a knockout artist in the UFC. Following his exit from the organization, Hall competed in a professional boxing contest scoring a unanimous decision win over Le'Veon Bell in October 2022.
The outcome of the contest hinges on whether Hall can unleash his aggressive fighting style and whether Chavez Jr. can shake off the ring rust since he's been away from action since December 2021. The event will stream live on DAZN at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
