The Junto Nakatani vs. Vincent Astrolabio boxing match takes place this Saturday, with Nakatani defending his WBC bantamweight title. But how much will both men make for the championship bout? Unfortunately, there are no reports regarding any potential earnings for the matchup. So, what of their past purses?
The reigning WBC bantamweight champion last took on Alexandro Santiago on Feb. 24, TKO'ing him. However, there were no disclosed payouts for the Japanese star's win over Santiago either. Instead, when Nakatani was last in contention for the WBO junior bantamweight title, the WBO provided a minimum $100,000 bid.
This was back in 2023, and was reported by RING TV. So, the undefeated Japanese knockout artist is estimated to earn between $100,000 to $200,000 for his upcoming bout with Astrolabio. As for the aforementioned Astrolabio, information on his fight earnings is even scarcer.

In 2023, the Filipino had lost to Jason Moloney in a WBO bantamweight title fight on a Top Rank card headlined by Kazakh power-puncher Janibek Alimkhanuly. According to a tweet from award-winning boxing journalist Dan Rafael, the California State Athletic Commission disclosed a $85,000 earning for Astrolabio.
So, with these figures considered, it is likely that Nakatani will pocket somewhere around the $100,000 to $200,000 mark, while Astrolabio will earn close to or a little over $100,000. However, for the Filipino star, the goal will be to finally capture a world title, a feat that has thus far eluded him.
Nakatani, however, will hope to remain unbeaten, scoring yet another knockout win that will lead to him being spoken of in the same breath as Japanese pound-for-pound great Naoya Inoue.
