The selfie has only heightened speculation about a rumored $500 million boxing exhibition match between McGregor and Logan Paul, potentially set to take place in India’s Wankhede Stadium. McGregor has teased fans by posting an Indian flag emoji and commenting on the proposed fight, hinting at negotiations with the Ambani family.

Dana White, however, recently commented on the speculation.

What has Dana White said on the Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul fight?

UFC CEO Dana White has dismissed rumors of a boxing match between Conor McGregor and Logan Paul. Speculation about the exhibition bout gained traction after a troll post on X was amplified by McGregor, with claims of a $250 million payday for each fighter at an event allegedly hosted by the Ambani family in India.

Appearing on the Pardon My Take podcast, White categorically denied the possibility, stating:

"No [McGregor won't fight Logan]."

White also dismissed the idea of McGregor fighting KSI, answering, "No," to a related question.

McGregor has not competed since his 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier, which left his MMA record at 22-6. Although a fight against Michael Chandler was scheduled for June 29, 2024, McGregor withdrew due to a broken pinky toe. While there was hope of rescheduling, no new fight has been confirmed.

White expressed optimism about McGregor’s UFC return, saying:

"Hopefully Conor returns [to the UFC] in the fall of this year."

However, McGregor remains sidelined, with his future in combat sports still uncertain.
