Christian Lee remains focused after his legendary success in ONE Championship.
At 26 years old, Lee is considered one of the most successful fighters in promotional history. 'The Warrior' is a two-sport MMA world champion (lightweight and welterweight) and previously won the Lightweight MMA World Grand Prix.
In November 2022, Lee defeated Kiamrian Abbasov for welterweight MMA gold. Since then, the Singaporean-American superstar has faced added responsibility to keep the two divisions' title pictures from stalling.
Lee recently did an interview with the DeWar Report and had this to say about ensuring he continues to work hard:

"You know, now that I have the two titles - the lightweight and the welterweight - it’s not so much about what I’ve accomplished. For me, it’s about putting my head down and continuing to work hard and just taking everything that comes next really."
On Dec. 6, Christian Lee ended his two-year layoff in the ONE Fight Night 26 main event. The two-sport world champion was tasked with defending his lightweight throne against the undefeated Alibeg Rasulov.
Unfortunately, Lee's title defense against Rasulov ended in a no-contest. Things were starting to heat up before the reigning champion accidentally landed an eye poke, which Rasulov couldn't recover from in time.

Christian Lee weighs responsibilities heading into 2025
Christian Lee's primary priority heading into 2025 is family, as he's expecting a third child with his wife. Following the special arrival, Lee plans to defend both of his world titles, including a rematch against Alibeg Rasulov.
Lee must make a decision about what division to fight in next. If he chooses to face Rasulov, the welterweight MMA division will likely need an interim world champion to reward the top contenders.
Zebaztian Kadestam is expected to be featured in the next welterweight title fight. The 34-year-old is coming off three consecutive knockouts, including two in round one, against Valmir Da Silva, Iuri Lapicus and Roberto Soldic.
