ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo is ready to compete on a potential ONE Championship card in California alongside inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world champion Jackie Buntan.
Ruotolo said as much during the post-event press conference of ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' last Friday, Nov. 8, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand:
"We'll go ahead and make sure when that Cali event goes down that it's going to be her title fight, and then hopefully a title fight for MMA next year. Double champs. Yeah, let's go! 2025 double champs."

Both Buntan and Ruotolo had unforgettable performances at ONE 169.
The Filipino-American outclassed French-Algerian striking icon Anissa Meksen throughout their thrilling five-round battle to win the inaugural 135-pound women's kickboxing crown.
Meanwhile, Ruotolo surprised fans with how much his striking has improved by dropping Ahmed Mujtaba with an overhand right and immediately locking in a D'Arce choke for his second MMA win.
Kade Ruotolo grateful for his corner's guidance for ONE 169 win
Kade Ruotolo has complete confidence in his abilities but also recognizes the importance of having the right people around him for his continued success under the ONE banner.
In the post-fight interview with ONE commentator Mitch Chilson, Ruotolo shared:
"We started off with a big shot and finished with the D'Arce. It's our favorite finish and will forever be our favorite finish. Super, super thankful. I have the best corner in the world, I mean, look at my corner - Tye Ruotolo, Tyler Wombles, and Eric Paulson. You can't ask for a better corner. Beyond thankful for them and I couldn't have gotten the result without them today."
