Kade Ruotolo has revealed that a future world title fight against twin brother Tye isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
The Ruotolo brothers emerged as superstars in the jiu-jitsu community at only 19 years old. Kade has surpassed his brother in fame due to his phenomenal accomplishments in 2022, but the twin brothers could end up settling who’s better in the ONE Championship circle.
Following his championship victory over Uali Kurzhev at ONE on Prime Video 3, Kade was asked about Tye potentially fighting for a ONE title soon. He said during the post-fight press conference:
"I'm not sure. I guess it depends on the division. I know he's looking at me right now. He's definitely got a possible matchup in December. We're hopeful that we both get on that same card if we can. And who knows, if we both get some wins, it'd be pretty crazy to see him challenging me for this. We fought twice before and technically he has two wins over me so I definitely need to get that one back."

Although they’ve competed against each other before, having the brothers compete for a ONE world title would be an unbelievable storyline. As Kade Ruotolo's stock rises, he must be prepared for all challengers.
Kade Ruotolo is prepared to take on all challengers now that he’s "the hunted rather than the hunter"
Kade Ruotolo has a massive target on his back now that he’s the ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion.
During the same ONE on Prime Video 3 post-fight interview, Ruotolo had this to say about his mindset now that he’s the champion:
“I think I said this before, but one thing that kind of changed is now, I feel like I'm the hunted rather than the hunter. I've always been looking after that number one spot, trying to get to the top, and now it kind of almost feels like I'm there. I got a lot of hungry people coming after me. And that's exactly what I want. So I can't wait to face everybody.”
Ruotolo has two thrones to defend after becoming the youngest ADCC champion in tournament history and winning the ONE world title. Whether it’s Tye or someone else, Kade seems ready to build a long-lasting legacy by taking on all challengers.
