Kade Ruotolo reveals what he's most looking forward to in title defense versus Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168: Denver

Since signing with ONE Championship, Kade Ruotolo has had the opportunity to be a part of some big nights for the promotion. Both he and his brother Tye were two of the marquee signings that were made by ONE once submission grappling started to become a fixture of each fight card.

He's already ticked off some great career highlights like getting to defend his ONE lightweight submission grappling world championship in Japan or making his MMA debut at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

However, his next contest may even top those as he will compete at ONE 168 where the promotion returns to the United States for just the second time. His co-main event grappling super fight with Mikey Musumeci will take place on the perfect stage for such an amazing clash of world champions.

For Kade, as excited as he is to take on 'Darth Rigatoni', the location makes it even sweeter because his supporters will be able to attend, as he revealed in a recent interview with Cageside Press:

"It's probably the first time my whole family is going to make it out for my fight, for a ONE Championship fight. I probably got friends who are going to go there and everything."

Kade Ruotolo would want to put on a show

Both Tye and Kade Ruotolo always want to represent submission grappling in the best way possible. That means a few things, including promoting themselves as clean athletes and always hunting down the biggest and best challenges.

It also means putting on entertaining matches to try and increase the audience size by making submission grappling more of a viewer-friendly experience.
