Kade Ruotolo is ready to make it a family affair inside the Circle.

After dominating the submission grappling scene alongside his twin brother and fellow ONE world champion, Kade Ruotolo would love to see another duo of BJJ brothers step onto martial arts' biggest global stage for a little brother vs. brother war.

Appearing on the Beasts with Brains Podcast with Alex Wendling, Ruotolo was asked about bringing the brothers' longstanding rivalry with Brazilian Fight Factory products William and Andrew Tackett to ONE Championship.

"I think that’s awesome. It’s a super exciting matchup. I’d love it…the brotherly rivalry right? Yeah. We’ve had so many matches with the Tacketts over the years, from blue belts to black belts. So, you know, our entire lives have been competing against those guys and they’ve always been around the scene.
"They’re cool guys, they’re respectful, and they’re great examples for the next generation as well."

Perhaps we could see the first-ever submission grappling tag team match in ONE Championship between the Ruotolos and the Tacketts. But first, Kade Ruotolo will focus on the task at hand which just so happens to be the biggest BJJ contest in ONE history.

Kade Ruotolo defends his gold vs Mikey Musumeci

Following an impressive tapout victory over Francisco Lo in his last submission grappling outing, Kade Ruotolo will return to the Circle on Friday, September 6 to put his ONE lightweight submission grappling world title on the line against fellow ONE world champion Mikey Musumeci.

Both men will enter the bout with identical 7-0 records in ONE Championship, though one of Ruotolo's victories came in a mixed martial arts bout at ONE 167 in June.

Musumeci, who currently sits at the ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion, will move up three weight classes for the opportunity to become the first-ever two-division ONE submission grappling titleholder in the promotion's history.

Who comes out on top when two of the greatest grapplers on the planet go toe-to-toe in a bout with gold, 'O's,' and ultimate bragging rights on the line?
