Japanese kickboxing sensation Kana Morimoto is only a few hours away from making her highly anticipated ONE Championship debut against French-Algerian striking icon Anissa Meksen at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Friday, Dec. 20.

In a recent interview with the world's largest martial arts promotion, 'Krusher Queen' was grateful to have worked with Superbon Training Camp, which is headed by ONE interim featherweight kickboxing king Superbon, leading up to her promotional debut:

"The Thai trainers are really specialized in ONE and are familiar with watching ONE fights and understanding their rule criteria, so that adds another positive element."

The former K-1 women's flyweight world champion has fought and defeated a list of elite strikers throughout her career, and she has now turned her attention towards winning 26 pounds of ONE gold.

It will be no easy task for the 32-year-old Team Aftermath affiliate, however. Meksen is coming off a shocking upset loss to Filipino-American star Jackie Buntan this past November for the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing crown. She will be looking for her revenge at Kana's expense.

But because of Kana's unshakeable belief in her abilities and the guidance of her Thai trainers at Superbon Training Center, her duel with Meksen inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, is a must-watch affair.

ONE Friday Fights 92 will be available live on Asian primetime via pay-per-view at watch.onefc.com.

Kana shares why she chose to sign with ONE Championship

With Kana being one of the most popular names in women's kickboxing, it should come as no surprise that many promotions were fighting to get her signature. However, she ultimately committed to ONE this past September.

Kana explained why she signed with ONE in an interview with the South China Morning Post:

"I'm in the final stages of my career and I believe ONE is the stage where the best in the world gather."
