Kana Morimoto honored to have Anissa Meksen as her first opponent in ONE
Aware of what her opponent has achieved in her career, Kana Morimoto is honored to have drawn Anissa Meksen in her ONE Championship debut at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20 in Thailand.
She shared this during the virtual press conference for the event, highlighting how she has a lot of respect for 'C18,' who, like her, was a decorated fighter prior to joining the promotion and how excited she is of locking horns with her.
The Japanese star said:
"First of all, I respect Anissa a lot. The fact that Chatri matched me up with Anissa on my debut fight, I'm very happy about that and also a little nervous. But it's more of excitement to fight her in my debut fight."
Meksen vs. Kana is one of four kickboxing matches on offer at ONE Friday Fights 92, which will be ONE Championship's last live offering for this year.
