Veteran Japanese fighter Kana Morimoto is excited to have kickboxing legend Anissa Meksen as her opponent in her ONE Championship debut this week. She said she is expecting a very competitive match and looking forward to mixing it up come fight night.

The 'Krusher Queen' with battle 'C18' in an all-legend atomweight kickboxing showdown at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be Kana's maiden outing since signing up with the promotion from K-1.

The 32-year-old Team Aftermath standout spoke about his debut against Meksen during the virtual press conference for ONE Friday Fights 92, sharing:

Kana Morimoto looks to enhance her legacy in ONE Championship

Japanese legend Kana Morimoto knows that she is already in the tailend of her illustrious kickboxing career but believes she still has good fights left in her. She wants to showcase that in her new home of ONE Championship.

Long competed in her homeland of Japan by way of K-1, 'Krusher Queen' decided to make the move to the "Home of Martial Arts" earlier this year to continue testing her skills against the top kickboxers in the world.

She shared this in an interview with the South China Morning Post following her signing with ONE, saying:

"I'm in the final stages of my career and I believe ONE is the stage where the best in the world gather."

Her ONE journey begins at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20, which will be the promotion's final live event this year.
