Katsuki Kitano is looking to even the gap when he takes on a highly experienced operator at ONE 167. The Japanese standout was successful on his ONE Championship debut and as a result, has drawn a big second assignment.

His win over Halil Kutukcu at ONE Friday Fights 38 in October gave fans a glimpse of what he is capable of but he will now look to show them that he is only scratching the surface.

On June 7, he will step inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand to take on the returning fan favorite Liam Harrison.

With 10 years between them in age, there is simply no comparison when it comes to experience and what the two men have accomplished.

The goal for Katsuki Kitano on fight night is to try and negate this by playing to his strengths to prevent 'The Hitman' from taking the fight into his own hands.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the 28-year-old said that he will look to take this advantage away from his opponent on June 7:

"I'm making sure his longer career doesn't let him make up for that."

Katsuki Kitano knows that he cannot match Liam Harrison in this field

Katsuki Kitano certainly isn't short on film that he can study in order to prepare himself for facing Liam Harrison. He will know all too well about the experience and incredible heart that the striking veteran brings to the table.

The big question for Kitano is whether he can use his own strengths effectively enough to pose a serious threat to 'The Hitman' on his return. The Brit striking legend has been away for nearly two years but Kitano isn't ready to roll out the red carpet in order to play the role of welcoming committee.

He will look to secure the biggest win of his career on June 7 at the Impact Arena as ONE 167 gets underway. Active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North American can catch the entire card for free live in U.S. primetime.
