Superbon is set to crossover into the world of Muay Thai once again when he returns at ONE Friday Fights 81. The elite Thai striker is one of the very best kickboxers in the world right now.
In search of more challenges and the opportunity of becoming a two-sport world champion, he competed in Muay Thai back at ONE Friday Fights 46 in December last year.
Though he came up short against the featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai, the experience was still rewarding for the challenger.
Now he is looking to potentially earn another shot at the champion by facing top contender Jo Nattawut in the main event on Sept. 27.

In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, the interim kickboxing world champion spoke about why he enjoys testing himself in a different rule set so much:
"There's more details in the techniques in Muay Thai - you can elbow, you can teep, you can sweep, you can knee. More details are more fun to keep my brain working harder."

Superbon knows what is at stake in this fight
Superbon knows that getting his hand raised at Lumpinee Stadium won't be an easy task.
Just like he went to war with Tawanchai, Jo Nattawut has done the same on two previous occasions and he's already set to meet the world champion later this year at ONE 169.
However, if the kickboxing specialist can pull off the victory in this highly anticipated clash, he could insert himself back into the title picture and ruin Nattawut's plans for Atlanta.
One thing is for sure and that's that Superbon can never be counted out in any fight based on his skill level and experience.
We will once again see how he is able to adapt to competing in Muay Thai.
