Despite the rivalry they once shared, ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade wishes nothing but the best for John Lineker.

'Wonder Boy' has kept closed tabs on 'Hands of Stone's recent foray into 'The Art of Eight Limbs'.

The former bantamweight MMA world champion has shaken up the entire 145-pound Muay Thai division following back-to-back vicious knockouts.

In a Sportskeeda MMA Exclusive, Andrade said he fully supports the 34-year-old Lineker's desire to conquer a second sport.

"I just think he’s doing very well. My wish or message to him is for him to just keep doing what he’s doing, you know. He’s not young anymore, I know he probably also wants to retire soon."

Lineker will seek his third straight KO in Muay Thai when he tussles with 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs Abdullaev on Prime Video on Jan. 10 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch ONE Fight Night 27 free live as it happens in US Primetime.

Fabricio Andrade not looking for a swift finish at ONE 170

Fabricio Andrade, on the other hand, will look to defend the bantamweight MMA throne he stole from John Lineker.

The Brazilian firecracker will run it back against the redemption-seeking Kwon Won Il in the first of three world title bouts in the stacked ONE 170 mega-event on Jan. 24.

After dispatching 'Pretty Boy' under in less than a round last time, Andrade says he's looking for a longer battle since he needs more ring time after his lengthy break.

"To be honest, I’m not specifically looking for the [early] KO, you know. I need more time inside the circle as well," he told Sportkseeda MMA.

ONE 170 will feature the promotion's return to Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The full event is free for Prime Video subscribers in North America as it happens live in US Primetime.
