Inaugural ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion Angela Lee is an undisputed legend in women's MMA. However, most fans know little about the many struggles she has faced to become an all-time great.
Lee recently revealed through her Instagram that she had been working on a biopic alongside filmmaker Nainoa Langer titled Unstoppable, in which she opened up more about her life outside of the fight game.
Langer wrote in the comments section:

"Man in the arena 🙌 grateful to be a part of telling some of your incredible story Angela! Keep inspiring!"
Lee's biggest strength has always been her elite grappling thanks to years of dedication to Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), leading to eight submission victories in the world's largest martial arts promotion.
In the wake of the tragic passing of younger sister Victoria Lee in December 2022, 'Unstoppable' chose to retire from the sport at ONE Fight Night 14 in September 2023 and vacated the ONE women's atomweight MMA world championship.
Lee ended her MMA career with a record of 11-3.
Angela Lee trains with former UFC champ
Angela Lee's retirement has not stopped her from helping others improve their skills and one fighter who has benefitted from training with her is Carla Esparza.
The two-time UFC strawweight world champion made the reveal on Instagram and wrote in the caption:
"Thank you so much @angelaleemma for the training session, it's many years overdue. I can't wait to see your new @unitedbjjhawaii gym location!"
'Cookie Monster' also shared her appreciation for Lee's achievements and later added:
"I've been a fan over the years, watching her win the inaugural ONE atomweight championship and defending it 5x! I had so much fun training with such a high-level grappler, thanks for beating me up! 😊❤️🥋"
