John Lineker has not been backed by Kevin Belingon. The former ONE bantamweight world champion has made his picks public for this weekend's ONE on Prime Video 3 main event.
In the headliner, Fabricio Andrade will be looking to take the bantamweight crown from John Lineker. Belingon, for one, thinks 'Wonder Boy' can do it.
On October 21, Andrade will challenge 'Hands of Stone' Lineker for the bantamweight throne. Both are known for their knockout power and, with that, it's set to be an explosive contest.
'The SIlencer' Belingon weighed in on this headlining bout in an interview with ONE Championship, saying:

“They both have the knockout power, and I like the energy of John. But I would pick Fabricio to win this bout because of his speed and reach advantage.”
Kevin Belingon is picking the Tiger Muay Thai fighter over the MMA veteran. Belingon even has experience fighting against 'Hands of Stone' as they met in the ONE circle in 2020. Despite losing to Lineker, he is still picking Andrade to walk away with the bantamweight gold.
John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade both have knockout power
Filipino athlete Belingon is absolutely correct in saying that both of these men carry knockout power. Andrade is currently on a three-fight win streak, with every victory coming by way of first-round knockout. John Lineker, meanwhile, has long been feared in MMA due to his heavy hands.
On Instagram, Andrade declared that he will win the world title by becoming the first to knock John Lineker out:
“I’m gonna kill him. I’m gonna destroy him. If he walks forward like the way he did with the other guys, he’s gonna get knocked out early. I’m the biggest problem in his entire life. He cannot hide. I’m gonna knock [him] out. I’m going to take his head, and I’m gonna wear my crown. I’m coming for you John ‘Chicken’ Lineker.
'Hands of Stone' John Lineker, however, will be aiming to defend his world title with a knockout of his own.
During the ONE on Prime Video 3 virtual press conference, the Brazilian champion reminded fans that he only needs one punch to win:
"This is like football. You only need one goal to win. Just like I only need one punch to win. It’s very nice for [Andrade] to dream about turning me into a wrestler. But I’m ready for him. I have over 50 fights, I’ve never been KO’d."
