UFC middleweight Kevin Holland has reflected on his bout against Stephen Thompson.

Holland and Thompson locked horns with each other in the headlining event at UFC Orlando last weekend. Contrary to expectations, the duo put on a scintillating performance going back and forth for four rounds. 'Wonderboy' finally took home the win after serving the 'Trailblazer' with a TKO loss as the latter's corner threw in the towel at the end of the fourth round.

Holland took to Twitter to discuss his recent matchup against Stephen Thompson, aka 'Nice Motherf**ker' [NMF]. 'Trailblazer' stated that sharing the cage with 'Wonderboy' was an honor for him. The 30-year-old also expressed his desire for a rematch, writing:

"Gosh darn it…. We almost had the NMF out of there early! Was an honor to share the cage with @WonderboyMMA Wonderful times. Maybe we do it again someday #forthefans #wonderbread"

Holland is currently on a two-fight losing streak. Prior to his fight against 'Wonderboy,' the 30-year-old faced Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279, which ended in a first-round submission loss for Holland. Following his most recent fight, 'Trailblazer' now has a pro-MMA record of 23 wins and nine losses.

Thompson, on the other hand, has finally resurrected himself at UFC Orlando after a two-fight losing streak that began last year. The fighter currently has a record of 17 wins and six losses and is regarded as one of the sport's most versatile strikers.

Michael Bisping shares his opinion on Kevin Holland vs. Stephen Thompson

UFC commentator Michael Bisping recently shared his thoughts on the hotly contested battle between Holland and Thompson at UFC Orlando.

While Kevin Holland would have had an undeniable advantage on the ground, he refused to engage in grappling and let Thompson up many times, as per their agreement.

Appearing on the post-fight show, Bisping criticized the 'Trailblazer' for not putting his superior grappling skills to use:

"We see people say, 'The first one to shoot is a coward,' but it's allowed in the rules, it's a mixed martial arts contest. This was one of the first times, it may be the only time that I have actually seen someone live up to that. Kevin Holland had top position, clearly, a couple of times. But he was like, 'No no, we're here to strike.'"
