Kevin Holland recently picked the fighter he thinks would be easier to beat between Belal Muhammad and Dricus du Plessis.
During his recent appearance on the OverDogs Podcast, Holland was asked to pick the fighter he would beat easily between the reigning welterweight and middleweight champions. Emphasizing their fighting styles, Holland chose Muhammad as the easier pick:
"I have to say honestly, probably Belal. I would have to say too. People say what they want to say about Dricus, his style’s ugly, and this and that, but he’s a gritty m*therf**ker. To fight a gritty fighter, it doesn’t matter what you're doing that night, you're going to have to deal with that grit. I like grit, so I’m fine with that. As for Belal, it's kind of like I really honestly believe I can shut down the takedown, but Belal gets knocked out, you know what I mean? But then that’s just a big story, though, it's you."

Dricus du Plessis breaks the bone of his training partner while preparing for Sean Strickland's fight at UFC 312
In their first matchup, Dricus du Plessis managed to secure a victory to dethrone Sean Strickland by a split decision, with many fans and pundits believing Strickland was robbed.
Du Plessis seems determined not to leave it to the judges in the upcoming rematch with ‘Tarzan’ and will likely look for a finish to shut down the critics. That being said, ‘Stillknocks’ is preparing hard for the bout and bringing the best fighters to train with him.
During his recent appearance on Jacaranda FM, Du Plessis revealed the unfortunate incident when he broke the orbital bone of his training partner:
"We've brought in quite a few people. Fighters from all over the world that we are bringing in for training, other pro fighters... Some of them better than others. We had one guy, unfortunately, first day of sparring got a broken orbital [bone]... We were punching each other and his eye bone broke."
