Kevin Holland has remained active in the six years since joining the UFC. He will return to the octagon for the third time in 2024 when he faces Roman Dolidze in a middleweight bout at UFC 307. The No. 15-ranked welterweight had the best year of his career in 2020 as he finished 5-0, tying the UFC record for most wins in a calendar year.
The second of those victories came against Joaquin Buckley, who is now the No. 11-ranked welterweight. 'Trailblazer' recently revealed that he would be open to a rematch with 'New Mansa', who he defeated via third-round TKO.
Holland shared a post to Instagram stating that if it were up to him he would bounce between the welterweight and middleweight divisions. He also acknowledged Carlos Prates' comments that he planned to call out the No. 15-ranked welterweight after defeating Li Jingliang via second-round knockout at UFC 305, captioning it:
"Don’t tease me with a good time #sunday #fun #day #mcnasty @bert_mma"

Holland and Buckley are both set to compete at UFC 307 in October. While the former will face Dolidze at 185 pounds, the latter will look to enter the top 10 of the welterweight rankings as he faces Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson.
Kevin Holland believes Jon Jones should fight Alex Pereira instead of Tom Aspinall
Jon Jones appears set to face Stipe Miocic in his return to the octagon and has hinted he could retire after his first heavyweight title defense. There has, however, been interest in a title unification bout with Tom Aspinall, as well as Alex Pereira making the jump to heavyweight to challenge 'Bones'.
Kevin Holland recently revealed that he believes 'Poatan' is the only opponent for the heavyweight champion if he can get through Miocic. Speaking to The Barnhill Brothers on The MMA Hangout, 'Trailblazer' stated:
"If it's not Jon Jones versus Alex, then there needs to be no more Jon Jones fights. Tom's doing a great job. Tom's going to end up becoming heavyweight king. Great. Fantastic. That's wonderful. Props for Tom. And it's like not everybody needs to fight the legend and legends need to fight legends."
Check out Kevin Holland's comments on Jon Jones below (starting from 21:36):
Holland suggested that the UFC could create a BMF belt for Jones and Pereira. He added that if 'Bones' loses to any opponent, it should be someone with the status of 'Poatan'.
