Kevin Holland talks company bias in light of Bo Nickal and Raul Rosas Jr.'s addition to UFC 4 game

Kevin Holland expressed his dissatisfaction over the UFC's bias in view of Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) graduates Bo Nickal and Raul Rosas Jr., being added to the UFC 4 game.

Both Nickal and Rosas Jr. are former contestants on DWCS and have earned the distinguished honor of being playable characters in UFC 4 for their stellar performances. They also laid hands on the coveted UFC contract, and Rosas Jr., the youngest fighter to compete in the UFC, is set to make his UFC debut against Jay Perrin at UFC 282.

Speaking to the media ahead of his fight against Stephen Thompson at UFC Orlando, Kevin Holland weighed in on the partial treatment that they receive:

"Remember when I was b**ching about the video game about a couple of years back, I got told, I don't make that decisions. Who the f**k makes those decisions then? If I wake up the next day and this guy who's been in the organization for a very short amount of time is in the video game, at that time it meant a lot to me."

Holland added:

"You've got a seventeen-year-old kid and you thought that his story was wonderful...you put him in the game even before he got a UFC fight...same with Bo Nickal. It's just certain things that don't make sense. At the end of the day, if we're here and we're here to be fair and here to be even, everybody should have a fair chance."

Kevin Holland claims retirement is still on his radar if "favoritism" persists

Kevin Holland announced his brief retirement following his devastating loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 earlier in September this year.

'Trailblazer' was originally scheduled to fight Alex Rodriguez, however, a failed weight cut by Chimaev forced the UFC to reshuffle the card, and Holland ended up facing the undefeated welterweight sensation instead.

Despite Holland overturning the hasty decision and returning to face Stephen Thompson this weekend at UFC Orlando, retirement still seems to be an option for him if the UFC continues to demonstrate "favoritism":

“[My retirement] was serious as hell, super serious. It’s still on the table. If I wake up Sunday morning after beating ‘Wonderboy’ and you guys have Chimaev fighting for a 185-pound world title, and he’s never won a fight at 185 lbs in the top 15, I’m retired. I understand business is business, but favoritism is favoritism."
