Khabib Nurmagomedov's teammate recently displayed his confidence while issuing a message to Daniel Cormier, who is currently on the commentating duties for UFC 311. In addition, the individual expressed his admiration for 'The Eagle's' father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov for believing in him.
The person in question is Tagir Ulanbekov, who walked out with Nurmagomedov to start UFC 311 in a flyweight bout against Clayton Carpenter at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The Russian had won two back-to-back fights going into the match, most recently defeating Cody Durden via second-round submission at UFC 296. Meanwhile, Carpenter was also on a two-fight win streak. In his last octagon outing at UFC Vegas 98, the American secured a submission victory against Lucas Rocha.
Ulanbekov began the fight on a promising note, catching his opponent with a leg kick in the first minute, but Carpenter quickly responded. Throughout the round, the 33-year-old demonstrated his wrestling abilities.

During the post-fight press conference after his victory, Ulanbekov discussed the significance of Nurmagomedov's father in his life.
''I would like to dedicate this victory to my late coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. I'm really lucky that I've had a person like that in my life...You should've seen me when I just started, when I came to his camp. I was 15 years old. I weighed (97 pounds), and if he looked at me, he probably thought I was disabled."
