Khabib Nurmagomedov sheds light on how 'stressful' his night at upcoming UFC 311 event might be: "Very, very high-level fighters"

Khabib Nurmagomedov recently traced how the night of UFC 311 would possibly be a taxing one for him and counted the reasons behind having a stressful night on Jan. 18.

Nurmagomedov didn't walk away from the sport entirely after declaring his UFC retirement at UFC 254. He followed his late father's footsteps and became the coach of the Dagestani camp of fighters including Islam Makhachev, Umar Nurmagomedov, and several other noted faces.

Fans have witnessed multiple instances of Nurmagomedov shouting and screaming out of restlessness during the fights with his disciples. Adding this to the fact that UFC 311 will feature three fighters from his camp details why the night is going to be a stressful one for him.

The UFC 311 card is scheduled to kick off with Tagir Ulanbekov, a Dagestani from Nurmagomedov's camp locking horns with Clayton Carpenter. The other two Dagestanis on the card are Umar Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev who will appear in the co-main and main events of the night.

In a recent interview with ESPN MMA's Brett Okamoto, Nurmagomedov mentioned that he intends to get some sleep during the time between the first and second fight of his teammates. He also counted another reason that would add to his stress on Jan. 18.

'The Eagle' said:

"It’s gonna be difficult. I’m gonna be in [early] prelims with Tagir [Ulanbekov]. Then I think I’m gonna have a couple of hours to sleep. I’ll try. For sure, it’s gonna be a difficult night… Because [the] three opponents [of my disciples] are all very competitive fighters. Tagir’s opponent, Merab [Umar’s rival], Arman [Makhachev’s rival, all are] very, very high-level fighters."

Khabib Nurmagomedov explained the reason behind being removed from an aircraft recently

One of Khabib Nurmagomedov's recent journeys got delayed as he was removed from the aircraft he boarded. A video went viral on the web recently which showcased Nurmagomedov being questioned by a female flight attendant over some previous confusion over language. Thereafter, he was removed from the flight by a security supervisor.

Nurmagomedov detailed the situation later with an X update. He also clarified the reason behind being removed along with accusing the Frontier Airlines attendants of being rude:

"First of all, I need to clarify that it was not AlaskaAir. Lady who comes to me with questions was very rude from the very beginning, even though I speak very decent English and can understand everything and agreed to assist, she still insists on removing me from my seat. What was the base for that, racial, national or other one, I'm not sure."

Nurmagomedov also desired improvement in Frontier Airlines's services:

"But after 2 minutes of conversation, she called security and I was deplaned from this aircraft, after 1.5 hour I boarded another airline one and left to my destination. I did my best to stay calm and respecttul as you can see on the video. But those crew members could do better next time and just be nice with clients."
