A recent video of Khamzat Chimaev enjoying his time outside the octagon with a few dance steps has been doing rounds on the web. Lately, Chimaev came up with a reaction for his own dance moves.
Chimaev has proven himself as one of the scariest fighters on the current UFC roster. His dominating victory over Robert Whittaker at UFC 308 placed him firmly in the run for a shot at the divisional title. But the face crank with which he ended the fight misaligned three of Whittaker's lower incisors, proving how scary he can be as an in-octagon rival.
However, the viral video of Chimaev showcased him in a completely different mood. It displayed 'Borz' attending a party and rocking the dance floor with a few steps of Lezginka, a Caucasian dance form.
An Instagram post from @Full Violence also witnessed Chimaev being accompanied by a blonde lady on the floor.

Khamzat Chimaev wanted to fight Alex Pereira in the past
Just like Khamzat Chimaev's viral dance video, a rumor about him has also been flying around in the MMA community recently. It says that the Chechen-born fighter might go up another weight class to challenge Alex Pereira with the UFC light heavyweight gold on the line.
Despite noted MMA personalities like Brendan Schaub talking about it, there has been no official announcement about the same. But Chimaev's past activities showcase that he was interested in an encounter with Pereira.
In June 2022, Chimaev took to X to quote-tweet UFC's post, which saw 'Poatan' getting his hand raised after emerging victorious against Sean Strickland at UFC 276. 'Borz' penned:
"I’m [I] want to fight with this guy @ufc @danawhite. Let’s make it"
