Khamzat Chimaev receives rare praise from Arman Tsarukyan following reality show showdown: "Break me to the end"

Arman Tsarukyan recently had a few words of appreciation for Khamzat Chimaev. Lately, the 28-year-old caught up with Chimaev for a grappling training session, which ended with Tsarukyan lauding Chimaev for something unusual.

Chimaev is known for being one of the scariest fighters on the current UFC roster. The Chechnya native puts the pedal to the metal right from the initial moments of his fights. His last encounter against Robert Whittaker at UFC 309 showcased his ruthless approach.

Chimaev went all-in on Whittaker right from the initial minute of the fight and secured a takedown shortly after the beginning. 'Borz' also ended the fight in the first round itself with a brutal neck crank that separated three of Whittaker's lower incisors from his gums.

However, Chimaev appeared to be a completely different individual while grappling with Tsarukyan. Out of all the things, Tsarukyan appreciated Chimaev's understanding approach while training with him. 'Ahalkalakets' said:

"I'm just used to wrestling with guys of my weight. I don't work with guys who are heavier because it can be traumatic [due to the fear of getting injured]. I already know Khamzat [Chimaev]. I understood he would not break me to the end. He would not injure me."

Khamzat Chimaev warned a surging UFC welterweight about the dire consequences of his wish

Khamzat Chimaev's dominant UFC run shows that only an injury or illness can prevent him from showing up and decimating his rivals in a fight. This is why he holds an undefeated 14-0 record in his pro-MMA career.

However, despite Chimaev's reputation, the surging UFC welterweight Ian Machado Garry recently expressed his desire to lock horns with him. Garry appeared in a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show and said:

"My ideal scenario's like, beat Shavkat [Rakhmonov] then win the world title. Then, I go to middleweight and fight Khamzat [Chimaev] and win that belt too."

However, Garry's challenge didn't do much to faze Chimaev. All it did was lure a threat out of the Chechen fighter. Chimaev recently posted an X update to detail the consequences of Garry's desire to fight him:

"@ianagaryy You're too skinny kid, don't go near the Wolf's teeth, you'll end up headless."
