Khamzat Chimaev recently opened up about congratulating Dana White after Donald Trump won the 2024 U.S. Presidential elections. The Chechen-born fighter revealed White's response to his texts and expressed his admiration for the UFC CEO's incredible rise to the top.
Given that Trump and White share a close relationship, it was unsurprising to see the UFC CEO join the real estate baron's re-election efforts. White notably gave a speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) and introduced Trump on stage at the event. He also used his social media platforms to promote Trump and his campaign.
In a recent interview with Adam Zubayraev, Chimaev revealed his post-win conversation with White. Speculating that he sees White occupying a post in Trump's administration, Chimaev said:
"Well, I congratulated Dana White. As far as I know, he’ll get some [official] position... I heard he’ll get a good position up there. I'm happy for him. A man who used to work in a hotel served the guests, and he achieved such great success in life. He gives motivation to people."

Dana White teases title fight for Khamzat Chimaev in America
After Khamzat Chimaev's incredible victory over Robert Whittaker at UFC 308, Dana White opened up about a potential title fight for the Chechen-born fighter in America. 'Borz' secured a statement first-round submission victory over Whittaker with a brutal face crank that severely injured the Australian's jaw.
During an appearance on the Jim Rome Show, White addressed Chimaev's win and lauded the devastating grappler for his performance. Talking about Chimaev's future moves in the promotion, White said:
"He looked incredible. His manager was telling me before the fight that mentally, physically, and emotionally, he's the best he's ever been... He was dead on. This guy's never looked better, especially against the competition that he had... I'm looking forward to him getting a title fight in '25... We'll see how this plays out here, but I want him to fight in the United States. I want him to fight for a title here in the US."
