Aung La N Sang is packing some serious power ahead of his return to the Circle on September 6.

After impressively dispatching his last three opponents—including back-to-back knockouts of Yushin Okami and Gilberto Galvao—'The Burmese Python' will try to make it four in a row when he meets undefeated Turkish standout Shamil Erdogan at ONE 168: Denver.

Appearing in a video on Aung La's YouTube channel, Kill Cliff striking coach Jason Trout talked up the former two-division titleholder's power, saying:

"I’m working with Aung La for his upcoming fight. The guy punches like a tank. I couldn’t imagine standing in front of him in a fight and getting hit in MMA gloves. It’s like getting hit by a bomb."

The last time fight fans saw Aung N Sang Sang inside the Circle, he scored an impressive submission victory over Fan Rong, securing his third-straight win and taking one more step towards a shot at reclaiming middleweight gold. If he can bag another big win at ONE 168: Denver, he may very well be the next man in line for a title opportunity.

However, that'll be easier said than done as he meets a man who has never known defeat.

Aung La N Sang and Shamil Gasanov put their unbeaten streaks on the line at ONE 168: Denver

Standing in Aung La's way of keeping his winning streak alive is undefeated prospect Shamil Erdogan.

The Turkish standout made a statement in his ONE Championship debut in June 2023, finishing the aforementioned Fan Rong 37 seconds into the second round at ONE Friday Fights 22.

The W moved Erdogan to 9-0 in his mixed martial arts career and has put him in position to face one of the biggest names in ONE history. If the Kremost Fight Club product delivers another dominant showing, he'll undoubtedly establish himself as the next big thing in ONE's loaded middleweight division.

Who leaves The Mile High City with a win, extending their streak and moving closer to a shot at the 205-pound title?
