Teen sensation Johan Ghazali has three names he hopes to share the Circle with before long.
At just 17 years old, 'Jojo' quickly established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in all of ONE Championship, securing five straight wins with the promotion, including an epic 36-second knockout of Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 17 last December.
Speaking with the South China Morning Post ahead of his highly anticipated return to the Circle on September 6, Ghazali revealed three names he hopes to one day throw hands with on martial arts' biggest global stage. He said:

"I want to fight Denis Puric... old man experience. Jacob Smith, who’s fighting Rodtang next, me and him could get it on. Freddie [Haggerty], like I said, me and Freddie would be a pretty big fight, I think."
Freddie Haggerty is, of course, the younger brother of current two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty.
While there's no doubt that big things are in store for Johan Ghazali as he works his way up the ranks, 'Jojo' will have to focus on the task at hand if he hopes to one day share the ring with names like Denis Puric and Jacob Smith.
Johan Ghazali won't make the mistake of underestimating his ONE 168: Denver opponent
After coming up short against Vietnamese standout Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 in June, Ghazali will look to bounce back in The Mile Hile City when he squares off with Mexican slugger Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver.
Cruz enters the bout still seeking his first win under the ONE banner after suffering back-to-back KOs in his first two outings with the organization. But despite his struggles so far, Ghazali refuses to make the mistake of underestimating his opponent.
"I hope so [to get a knockout]. That’s the plan," Ghazali told Sportskeeda MMA. "50 G’s, that’s the plan. The truth is, he’s 28, he’s a decade older than me. I’m sure he has more experience than me. To underestimate him would be wrong. I don’t underestimate anyone."
Will 'Jojo' climb back into the win column in The Centennial State, or will Josue Cruz finally break through and see his hand raised inside the Circle for the first time?
