Kongthoranee Sor Sommai isn't quite done with 2024 yet. If given the chance, the Muay Mat hopes to squeeze in another fight. The Sor Sommai man got himself back in the winner's column at ONE 169 inside the Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, November 8.

Up against hardy Russian striker Tagir Khalilov, the 27-year-old barely took a foot wrong as he cruised to a unanimous decision win. When asked about a preferred date for his next assignment, the Thai had this to say to Nick Atkin:

"As soon as possible. But I don't have any names. Any names that is proposed to me, I would take it."

Kongthoranee certainly hasn't taken his foot off the gas pedal since fighting under the promotion's ONE Friday Fights series last year.

Kongthoranee admits he has a lot to improve on despite easy win over Khalilov

Kongthoranee may be happy with the win, but he vows to go back to the drawing board to fix some flaws that popped up from his appearance inside the Mecca of Muay Thai last week.

The 27-year-old, in a separate interview with the promotion, said:

"I am happy that I achieved this victory, but I am not satisfied with my performance. I want to go back and improve my leg steps to be faster. My finishing is not good enough. I want to improve."

The ONE 169 replay is available on Amazon Prime Video for North American fans.
