Kron Gracie recently hit back at the critics, who were questioning his contest against Bryce Mitchell being placed on the main card of UFC 310. Gracie asserted that he doesn't care about the backlash, as it is the UFC, who decided the card placement.
Gracie will square off against Mitchell on the main card of UFC 310 in a featherweight bout. Their contest will take place this weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ahead of the matchup, the 36-year-old spoke to MMA Fighting and discussed being targeted by the MMA community for a spot on the main card, while former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and undefeated featherweight challenger Movsar Evloev are on the pay-per-view event's preliminary card.
The 36-year-old remarked that he is unconcerned about the criticism and that the promotion's decision must be business-related.

''I think it’s funny because the people always have something to say. And it’s interesting that people who would complain about something like that are probably the people who are not even paying for the pay-per-view, they’re streaming it for free. You’re stealing the pay-per-view and they’re the ones complaining about where the fight is...I don’t see why it’s such a big deal obviously because I don’t really care about that kind of situation.''
Gracie added:
''Obviously the UFC knows what they’re doing and they’re in the business of making fights and matchmaking...I’m sure that this is a business deal and it is what it is, you know?''

Kron Gracie previews Bryce Mitchell clash at UFC 310
Following a lengthy break, Kron Gracie will return to the octagon in a featherweight bout against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 310.
In his aforementioned interview with MMA Fighting, Gracie discussed facing Mitchell and said that the 30-year-old would be a tough contest for him.
''Bryce [Mitchell] is a tough opponent. He’s a top-15 guy, he’s a grappler, so maybe it could be a different fight than the striking guys that I’ve been fighting. So we’ll see how he approaches this fight. We don’t know if he’s going to run away, or if he’s gonna try to attack me, and I think it’s just a good matchup.'' [6:43]
