The feud between Kron Gracie and Gordon Ryan appears to be heating up, with Gracie recently bashing Ryan. This transpired after the BJJ superstar brought up Gracie's family name in between their dispute, which didn't sit well with the UFC fighter.
Ryan recently made the news for his remarks about the use of steroids in grappling. Due to his continuous support of performance-enhancing drugs, 'The King' has come under fire from Mikey Musumeci, who chastised Ryan for his comments.
Along with Musumeci, Gracie also expressed his disapproval of Ryan's statement that drugs are acceptable in the grappling community, by sharing an Instagram story.
In response, Ryan uploaded Gracie's remarks on his social media, slamming him and mocking the Gracie family name, writing:

''Talking to these people is like talking to liberals. You present facts, and they're just like 'no,' lol. I say we are on earth. They say we are on Mars. We just aren't. They say steroids are illegal in jj.. they're just not. Like, they're just... not lmao. 2+2 just isn't 5. It's just not. You can say you don't like them. You can say they're not right. You can say they should be illegal, but the FACT is that they're just simply... not. Also, you're gonna tell me the family hasn't used steroids in jj and mma for like the last 5+ decades? Places they were legal?"
Gracie was quick to hit back as he put up another Instagram story, targeting Ryan. He wrote:
''I'm only speaking for myself, never speaking for my family, and everything I said is a fact. Adding liberal and my family to this just proves I'm right and you have no argument @gordonlovesjiujitsu. Why are you following me for years if you don't want to hear what I say.''
Gordon Ryan justifies the use of drugs in grappling competitions
The heated conflict between Gordon Ryan and Kron Gracie began with Ryan's statements about steroids, detailed below.
Ryan went on his YouTube channel and posted a lengthy video, claiming that PEDs are legal in grappling, saying:
''Steroids are legal in Jiu-Jitsu, the only place they're not legal is in the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) where they started testing after I had won the worlds...but I never competed in IBJJF when steroids were illegal. I never competed in any event where steroids were illegal...steroids are legal so why wouldn't you use steroids.''
