KSI lashes out at "confused tw*t" Dillon Danis for trying to back out of upcoming clash by complaining about rehydration clause

British YouTuber KSI and American mixed martial artist Dillon Danis are set to take on each other on January 14, 2023, at the OVO Arena Wembley in a boxing exhibition.

Two weeks away from the fight, Danis expressed concerns over a clause in the fight contract that may prevent the bout from going through. The clause concerns a rehydration limit, which is a common stipulation in boxing matches but less popular in the world of mixed martial arts.

KSI responded to Danis' claims on Twitter by calling out the Bellator welterweight and dismissing his career achievements.

"You don’t have what it takes to get in the ring with me. You ain’t a fighter. You’re a confused twat. You’re a waste of time. Your career is a failure. You’re nothing @dillondanis"

Dillon Danis spoke to Chael Sonnen in an interview and went as far as to outline his plans in case the boxing exhibition did not work out.

"I feel like this fight won't happen. I feel like they're starting to get scared, I think they saw clips or people like you saying I was going to win. They're trying to make weird things in the contract now two weeks before, I feel like they're looking for a way out."

"If it does happen like that, I don't wait for nobody, I would jump on that Bellator card on February 4, Bader vs Fedor."

KSI removes rehydration clause from fight contract, questions Dillon Danis

After Dillon Danis raised concerns over the rehydration clause that stipulates weighing in again after the official weigh-ins, KSI offered a solution.

The YouTuber criticized 'El Jefe' for creating an issue with a pre-signed contract that dates back months. He then spoke about ridding the fight of the clause and demanded to know what excuse Danis would come up with next.

"You are pathetic @dillondanis We both signed the same contract to reach 177.5 pounds with a 7.5 pound rehydration clause months ago 3 weeks before we fight you complain about the rehydration clause like a moron. So we get rid of the rehydration clause. What is your excuse now?"
