In his first meeting with Sangmanee PK.Saenchai, Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai had a point to prove.
Back at ONE: No Surrender III in August 2020, Kulabdam felt like people were counting him out against Sangmanee, underestimating his abilities but that didn’t last too long. With a first-round knockout, he advanced into the finals of the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix and showed the world what he was capable of.
With a rematch nearly three years in the making, Kulabdam is ready to do just that once again.
Headlining ONE Friday Fights 2 from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium, they will face-off again, though this time around, anything could happen in this fight.

In an interview with ONE Championship, ‘Left Meteorite’ spoke about how he was feeling ahead of their first fight and what he would carry with him into the rematch:
“Before my first fight at ONE, most people thought that I couldn’t fight with Sangmanee. I kept those criticisms to myself and concentrated on my training. I was determined to beat him because I was underestimated a lot. And for this upcoming fight on Friday, January 27th, I am super ready to face Sangmanee again. Let’s see who will perform better in the Circle.”
ONE Friday Fights 2 full card announced, headlined by Kulabdam vs Sangmanee 2
The second event in ONE Championship’s series taking place at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand will be headlined by the rematch between Sangmanee and Kulabdam.
Last Friday, the series kicked-off with an event that set the bar very high for the upcoming Friday Fights cards.
With several fights that could be considered fight of the year contenders and a main event between Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Ramazanov that over-delivered on expectations, it won’t be easy to follow that.
A rematch nearly three years in the making between Sangmanee and Kulabdam will be the main event but there’s plenty of other top match-ups to showcase the sport of Muay Thai.
Alongside Sangmanee, three more members of Bangkok’s PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym will be in action. Chalamkhao, Avatar and former world title challenger Pongsiri will all be competing at the event, hoping to make it a memorable night for the legendary gym.
Five other Muay Thai match-ups take place on January 27, featuring the likes of Sherzod Kabutov, Yodlekpet Or. Pitisak and Marie “Snow Leopard” Ruumet.
Elsewhere on the card, two MMA contests will take place earlier in the evening which will augment Muay Thai as the star of the show.
