The Lani Daniels vs. Bolatito Oluwole card has just wrapped up, bringing a close to Ironfist Promotions' International Charity Fight Night event. The headliner pitted defending IBF women's light heavyweight champion Daniels against Nigerian phenom Oluwole.
On home soil, Daniels authored a convincing performance. Despite Oluwole's reputation as an undefeated power-puncher, Oluwole was unable to hurt Daniels. In fact, it was Daniels who seemed to be the harder hitter. After a competitive round one, Daniels took over, countering Oluwole off the backfoot before seizing the frontfoot herself.
As Oluwole tired, Daniels landed progressively harder shots. In the end, Daniels retained her IBF title via unanimous decision. Meanwhile, the co-main event between John Parker and Alivereti Kauyaca saw the two men meet in a slow-paced chess match for the WBA Oceania cruiserweight title.

While Kauyaca started fairly strong, with a clear-cut gameplan to back the faster Parker up to the ropes and score body shots to set up an overhand, he became overly predictable. In time, Parker began finding his counters, sniping him with jabs throughout the bout.
Neither man though was able to hurt the other. Instead, they had to outwork each other amid feints, jabs and level changes. After 10 rounds, Parker emerged victorious, having done enough to eke out a split-decision win and capture the WBA Oceania cruiserweight belt.
Elsewhere on the card, an overmatched Jesse Maio faced Rini Porter in the biggest shutout that the card had to offer. Within a round, Porter had dropped Maio twice, before flatlining him with an overhand right that sent him crashing face-first into the canvas for a brutal knockout.
