The post sparked a reaction, with one MMA enthusiast questioning Sanko for not interviewing the challengers from the UFC 311 card. The fan wrote:

“Why the challengers don’t get interviewed @laura_sanko.”

The comment caught the attention of Sanko, who replied to clarify the reason behind not interviewing the defeated challengers.

She explained that fighters who suffer losses often prefer to avoid media interactions. Sanko responded:

“@sins.1989 most fighters who just took an L aren’t wanting to do media.”

Laura Sanko reveals the probable reason for Merab Dvalishvili’s frustration after accepting UFC 311 fight against Umar Nurmagomedov

In a back-and-forth battle, Merab Dvalishvili secured a unanimous decision victory over Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 311 to defend his bantamweight belt. Leading up to the event, Dvalishvili had expressed reluctance about giving Nurmagomedov a title shot and mentioned his preference for competing in March or April.

Speaking on One on One, Laura Sanko revealed a potential reason why 'The Machine' was not happy with the quick turnaround and also claimed that the champion could have benefited from more time to prepare.

Sanko explained:

"Ray Longo, who I realize is not officially his head coach, or overly involved at this point, but they obviously have a close relationship and still I think he sees him as a coach and mentor, Ray didn't love this happening as quick as it did. And I think, to be honest with you, that that might be part of why Merab has been so fiery and so irritated about this whole situation.
"It's not like some evil plot against Merab in some way. I'm not trying to insinuate that, but I do think that he would have loved a little bit more time [to prepare].”
