Lauro Sanko recently voiced her thoughts about her attempt to appreciate Shavkat Rakhmonov in the Kazakh language. Sanko started pretty smoothly, but something happened after that.
MMA fans started connecting Sanko with Rakhmonov after one of her statements about 'Nomad's' fights. At the UFC 279 weigh-in show, Sanko exclaimed that Rakhmonov's fighting style gives her "chills". Sanko has been questioned about her statement multiple times since then.
Sanko also gained massive popularity among Kazakh UFC fans after her statement about Rakhmonov. She thanked Rakhmonov's countrymen for appreciating her on the stage of the 2023 World MMA Awards.
However, Sanko decided to try out a new way to convey her appreciation for Rakhmonov. She tried to speak the phrase "Shavkat is a real Kazakh warrior" in the native language of Kazakhstan. However, a recent Instagram post from @freak.mma showcased that she failed after speaking two words in Kazakh.

"I screwed it up 😂🤦🏼♀️"
Belal Muhammad refused Laura Sanko's offering since she was on Shavkat Rakhmonov's team
Shavkat Rakhmonov was scheduled to challenge Belal Muhammad for the UFC welterweight gold at UFC 310. However, Muhammad's bone infection made him pull out of the encounter. Moreover, Rakhmonov's victory and face-off with Muhammad at UFC 310 clarified that the Kazakhstan native still stands as Muhammad's next challenger for the welterweight championship.
After completing his recovery period, Muhammad graced the UFC 310 weigh-in show along with Daniel Cormier and Laura Sanko. At a point in the show, Sanko offered Muhammad a non-alcoholic drink, but Muhammad jokingly refused Sanko's offering since he felt threatened. Muhammad feared Sanko might try to drug him due to her allegiance to "team Shavkat" Rakhmonov:
"You are team Shavkat [Sanko is on Rakhmonov's side], so I don't know if you're trying to drug me or something like that."
