Veteran boxing commentator Adam Smith recently shared his prediction for the upcoming heavyweight rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, stating 'The Gypsy King' must take the fight more seriously than before.

Fury and Usyk are set to meet once again inside the squared circle on Dec. 21 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The pair will run back their highly entertaining contest from May earlier this year, that saw Usyk become the undisputed heavyweight champion when he won via split-decision, handing Fury the first loss of his professional career.

Whilst a split-decision result seems close, many felt as though the Ukrainian had comfortably done enough to win, even coming close to knocking Fury out on multiple occasions throughout the fight. Regardless, the Brit exercised his rematch clause immediately.

Ahead of their highly anticipated rematch, Adam Smith broke down the fight and offered his prediction during a recent interview on the Boxing Social YouTube channel.

According to the veteran commentator, Tyson Fury must stop doing his typical antics both pre-fight and during the bout and instead focus on the boxing. He said:

"He's [Fury] looking really good in camp and I expect him to come in a bit heavier. He's got to try and use his size advantage and he can't be playing around like last time...Usyk won it, it was a good fight. He should have stopped him in the ninth round but we start again, it's a new canvas. The difference is they both know each other will so there will be respect this time...Fury also has a very good record in rematches."

Dillian Whyte warns Tyson Fury ahead of Oleksandr Usyk rematch

Dillian Whyte, a former opponent of Tyson Fury, has warned his rival that he could be facing the first knockout loss of his career when he rematches Oleksandr Usyk.

According to Whyte, Usyk has only improved each time he steps into the ring and the fact he very nearly finished Fury in their first meeting suggests a knockout could be on the cards. Speaking in a recent interview with Sky Sports, Whyte said:

"In heavyweight boxing, you're always one punch away, He [Uysk] caught him [Fury] pretty good. In some places in the world, they would have stopped that fight. But because of Tyson Fury's nature and the fact he shows that he gets up and he can keep going, that's why they didn't stop it. But I think Usyk can stop him. Either man [can stop each other]...Fury needs to be very careful in the rematch, very, very careful."
